| Encompix Engineering Integration links the popular 2D and 3D CAD packages, such as SolidWorks® and AutoCAD®, with production orders. It is a simple process to create a bill of material in Encompix directly from the drawing. Encompix ERP provides revision level tracking on all drawings. The engineer has access to existing part information in Encompix ERP, which eliminates the need to create a new record for an existing item. Also, the system automatically creates purchase material requirements.
To facilitate the purchase of long lead-time items, the engineer can optionally release the production bill by item, for advanced purchase, even before the design is complete.
Encompix Engineering Integration reduces the duplication of effort and non-value activities like the re-keying of data from one system to another, allowing engineers to concentrate on design tasks. |
